Topeka, Kan., Oct. 24, 2014 — Westar Energy invites local students to have a howling good evening at Truck or Treat for Safety from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the Mill Valley High School parking lot, 5900 Monticello Rd., Shawnee.
Truck or Treat for Safety, sponsored by Westar Energy, in addition to the Kansas Highway Patrol and City of Shawnee Fire Department, provides elementary-aged children and their families an evening of kid-friendly safety demonstrations, up-close look at first responder vehicles, special treats and an iPad mini up for grabs as a door prize*! Admission is free.
